Gavin

Gavin is a dynamic 16 year old whose current bedroom was no longer serving his needs. After battling optic-glioma and recently losing his vision, his bedroom needed better light sources and to be revamped to reflect his current interests - music, traveling, and just focusing on being a teenager!

Our room makeover included demolishing existing built-in shelves, desks, and a window bench. We lightened the room by painting walls light gray and adding textured

grasscloth wallpaper. A dimensional wood world map hangs over Gavin's bed, where he can pin places he's visited and places he dreams of going.

A comfy upholstered new bed centers the room with shades of yellow, green, and blue accents. A linear striped rug brings warmth to the space, while Gavin's guitars and ukelele are hung up for him to play at any time. Color changing & voice controlled lights give Gavin newfound independence and help create a variety of room vibes. Gavin absolutely loved his new room and our team is thrilled with how it turned out.
